Adding Blender Color Groups Support for Printables 3D Model Previews
Printables is a 3D model sharing site with a unique 3D model previewer. This preview can utilize color data embedded in the 3D file — but only if you assign colors in specific software.
Let’s figure out how the Printables 3D previewer gets color info from 3MF files and get Blender to export models with the needed color info!

This configuration fixes a bug where the extruder cooling fan would only turn on when the motors were active and not when the extruder was hot. This could lead to heat creep and a clogged hotend if the hotend heater was left on and the motors were off.

Connecting the generic 3 pin filament runout sensor to the Ultimaker Original+/2/2+ controller board or other printer without dedicated filament runout sensor pins is plug and play once the mystery runout sensor pin out is determined.
I created a adapter board for this style of filament runout sensor that minimizes wiring and uses adjacent pins on the Ultimainboard.
