Sigmarion experience, anyone?

I was digging through my garage today and found a NTT Docomo Sigmarion. It’s a small, handheld pc running Windows CE. Unfortunately, it came with a Japanese version of Windows CE. It would be nice to have it display English by default, but it has no language selection. I’ve gotten so far to download an English CAB file from hpcfactor.com and connect the device to a pc using a serial connection cable. The device appears to show up under the “Other” portion in My Computer. The title of it is “???? ????”, and “System Folder” under the title.

sigmarion in explorerHoping for the best didn’t give me the best. Double clicking on the icon crashes Windows Explorer and Windows 7 wants to check for a solution. ???? ???? also does not have any properties. I installed Microsoft Active Sync from the disc that the device had but that program is also in Japanese and question marks.

NTT DoCoMo Sigmarion IIDo you use a Sigmarion I,II, or III and have gotten the English version of Windows CE to work? If you’re willing to share the knowledge, please drop me a line. Thanks!
